Child safety standards
Last updated: October 23, 2026
keeper (the keeper app on Google Play and the App Store, published by keeper) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains what isn’t allowed, how to report it and what we do about it.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 000 in Australia, or your local emergency number, now.
How to report
- In the app: tap the More options button () on the keep, comment, list or profile, tap Report and choose Child safety. The person you report is never told who reported them.
- By email: write to support@getkeeper.social with the username or a link to what you saw. Please don’t send us the images or screenshots of them.
- To the authorities: in Australia, report to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE). Elsewhere, report to the NCMEC CyberTipline or your local police.
What isn’t allowed
Anywhere on keeper, including in links to other sites, you must never post, share, ask for or offer:
- any sexual image or video of someone under 18, including drawn, edited or AI-made ones (child sexual abuse material, or CSAM);
- anything that sexualises a child, in a photo, caption, comment, username or list name;
- grooming: building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them, including asking them to move to another app;
- sextortion: threatening to share sexual images of someone to get money, more images or anything else;
- anything that helps traffic or sell children.
What we do
- We review child safety reports before any other report, and aim to act within 24 hours.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the account.
- We report child sexual abuse material to the ACCCE, and keep the records they need for as long as they need them.
- We cooperate with police investigating harm to children.
Age and young people
- keeper is for people 13 and over. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and don’t let anyone under 13 create an account.
- If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
- keeper has no private messaging. Comments are seen by everyone who can see the keep.
- When a keeper link is shared on another website or app, its preview never shows anything posted by someone under 18.
Laws we follow
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including Australia’s Online Safety Act 2021. Our Terms of Service ban this content too.
