Delete your keeper account

This page explains how to delete your account in the keeper app (published by keeper on Google Play and the App Store), with or without the app, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete in the app
- Open keeper and sign in.
- Go to your profile and open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password, or with Google or Apple if you signed in with them.
You’re signed out on every device and your profile is hidden straight away.
Can’t use the app?
Email support@getkeeper.social from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my keeper account” and your username. We’ll send a confirmation email to that address, usually within 7 days. Reply to it and we’ll delete the account the same way the app does.
If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, write from any address and include your username. Our confirmation reaches you through Apple.
What happens next
- You have 30 days to change your mind. To cancel, sign in within 30 days and tap Cancel deletion.
- After 30 days your account is permanently deleted and can’t be recovered.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, name, username, date of birth and linked Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your profile and profile photo.
- Your keeps, including photos, ratings, dishes, captions, prices and tags of friends.
- Your likes, comments, drafts and lists, including lists you shared with others.
- Your follows, blocks, notifications, settings and device push tokens.
- Feedback and reports you sent us in the app, including screenshots.
What we keep, and for how long

Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a keeper subscription. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions or in your Apple subscriptions.
